Since Attorney General Eric Holder announced on February 26 that the Drug Enforcement Administration will no longer raid stores which sell medical marijuana, hundreds of storefronts have opened in Los Angeles.

The access to “medical” marijuana is available to almost anyone wanting to use it. Merely telling a physician you have a bad knee or back along with $150 is usually enough to get a “physician’s recommendation” which is valid for one year.

In the recent Monte Carlo e-rally, a Tesla Roadster ran for 241 miles on a single battery charge, proving that the range on electric vehicles is not limited. If the numbers are correct, the Tesla vehicle will hold the record for the longest distance covered by a production electric car on a single charge.

I found an interesting article which claims that Facebook users will be able to share torrent links directly from their profiles courtesy of The Pirate Bay. The implications of this are the fact that people can and will share links to illegal torrents. The Pirate Bay has always rebelled against organizations such as the RIAA and MPAA, claiming that they only provide access to illegal torrents much in the same way that google provides links to illegal material. This news is particularly ballsy on the part of The Pirate Bay owners following their recent court case with the IFPI for which a verdict will be announced on April 17th. They are either incredibly confident in the result or simply trying to make a statement.

On a lighter note, today is my Birthday and I gotta say, I’m still hurting from a weekend of hard drinking. Now excuse me, while I go share some swedish porn torrents on facebook. That’s all folks, stay tuned for more hotness.

Looking back in history, it seems that there is always one piece of technology that revolutionizes the world at that given time;  the automobile or airplane are good examples. In my lifetime however, I can’t think of anything that has had that kind of effect. Sure, computers and the internet allow us to stay connected at all times and the amount of information being exchanged at any given moment is staggering, but they are still missing the “wow factor”. I can’t help but feel that the world isn’t advancing as quickly as it should. This video is about a new technology that is meant to be mobile and interactive. It looks like something out of a movie. (If you can get over the speakers voice, it’s a very cool video.)
